Delete your JobPesa account
You can delete your account at any time in the JobPesa app.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open JobPesa and sign in.
- Go to “Settings”, then “Account”, then tap “Delete Account”.
- Clear your data in each country you have used, one country at a time (or use “Clean all remaining countries”). Then tap “Permanently delete account”.
- Confirm as shown on the screen (enter your password if asked). If you signed in with Apple on an iPhone, you will also be asked to approve with Apple so that we can revoke JobPesa’s Sign in with Apple access. Then tap “Permanently delete my account”.
What happens when you delete
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Your profile, resumes, preferences and other personal data in each country are deleted, and your sign-in details are removed. Permanent deletion is only available after your data has been cleared in every country.
If you are a company owner and your company is closed together with your account, the verification documents you uploaded are deleted from our storage. A record that a verification request existed may be kept for our records.
Some records involve other people or may need to be kept, and are kept only in anonymized form, without your name or contact details: chat and support messages, job applications and interviews, and orders and payments. The details are described here: Privacy Policy
