Description of Service

JobPesa is a job-matching platform that connects job seekers with employment opportunities and helps enterprises find talent across East Africa. Job seekers can create a profile, upload a resume, search and apply for jobs, and message employers. Employers can create a company profile, post job listings, and message applicants. This website provides information about JobPesa and links to download the mobile application, which is where these features are actually used.

Acceptable Use of This Website

When using this website, you agree that you will not:

Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its underlying systems;
Interfere with or disrupt the website's normal operation;
Scrape, copy, or reproduce substantial portions of this website's content without permission.

Accounts

To use most features of the JobPesa app, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and keeping your profile (or, for employer accounts, your company profile) up to date, and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create a JobPesa account.

Acceptable Use of the JobPesa App

JobPesa connects job seekers and employers, so we all rely on the accuracy and good faith of what other users post. When using the app, you agree that you will not:

Post a job listing that is fake, a scam, a pyramid/multi-level-marketing scheme, or that requires an upfront payment from applicants;
Misrepresent your identity, your qualifications, or — for employer accounts — your company's identity or the role being offered;
Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other users through chat;
Upload content (profile photos, job images, resumes, chat attachments) that is unlawful, infringing, obscene, or that you don't have the right to share;
Use another person's account, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission;
Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app's security, chat delivery, or quota systems.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and job seekers and employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of what they post and for their own hiring/employment decisions — JobPesa is a platform connecting the two sides and is not a party to, and does not guarantee the outcome of, any employment relationship formed through it.

Paid Plans

JobPesa is currently free to use during its testing period, and no paid plans are available yet. If paid plans are offered in the future, we will announce them before they take effect, and the prices and refund rules that apply will be shown before you buy.

Intellectual Property

The JobPesa name, logo, and all content on this website — including text, graphics, and design — are the property of JobPesa or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written consent, except as necessary to view and share this website in the ordinary course of browsing it.

Third-Party Links and App Stores

This website links to third-party app stores (Google Play, the App Store) and a direct APK download for installing the JobPesa app. Your use of those third-party platforms is governed by their own respective terms of service, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that this website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability
